On May 15, 2026, there will be a change in the locally competent offices for foreign nationals with a registered address in the Tábor district.
If you have a registered address in the Tábor district, you now newly fall under the competence of the offices in the South Bohemian Region, specifically the offices in České Budějovice, Písek and Jindřichův Hradec.
The Ministry of the Interior office in Benešov is no longer primarily responsible for handling your residency matters.
