Autoremedial Measure
Autoremedial measure is a procedure available to the Ministry, allowing it to amend or revoke its own decision that has been appealed, provided the appeal is fully granted1.
The Ministry may decide within the framework of an autoremedial measure if, based on the submitted appeal, it concludes that the appeal is justified or that the conditions for taking new facts or evidence into account have been met.
It is possible to submit an appeal against a decision made as part of an autoremedial measure.
If the Ministry does not find a reason for further processing with an autoremedial measure, it will forward the case file, along with its opinion, to the Commission for Decisions on the Residence of Foreigners.
