Payment methods
Many administrative procedures are subject to an administrative fee stipulated at a specific amount. The amount may differ for the third-country nationals and for EU citizens (including the citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland) and their family members.
The administrative fee can be paid in the following ways:
- for applications submitted exclusively in person, the administrative fee must be paid by card at the Ministry of the Interior office,
- If the fee is not paid during the in-person submission of the application, you will be asked to pay it by bank transfer to the account of the Ministry of the Interior or by postal order.
- for applications sent by post or data box, you can pay the administrative fee in advance by bank transfer using the payment details generator on the Information Portal for Foreigners.
- Before submitting your application, use the Information Portal for Foreigners to generate the payment details (the Ministry of the Interior’s bank account number and your variable symbol).
- You must then pay the fee by bank transfer before submitting your application.
- A confirmation of payment, including the variable symbol under which the payment was made, must be attached to the application.
