Payment methods
Some administrative procedures require a payment of an administrative fee of a specified value. Its height may differ from the third country nationals to EU citizens (including the citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland) and their family members.
The administrative fee can be paid by following ways:
- for applications submitted exclusively in person, you will pay the administrative fee by credit card at the Ministry of the Interior office,
- If you do not pay the administrative fee during the submission of the application in person, you will be asked to pay it by bank transfer to the account of the Ministry of the Interior or by cheque.
- for applications sent by post or data box, you can pay the administrative fee in advance by bank transfer using the payment details generator on the Information Portal for Foreigners.
- Before submitting your application, generate the payment details (the Ministry of the Interior’s bank account number and your variable symbol) via the Information Portal for Foreigners.
- You must then pay the fee by bank transfer to the Ministry of the Interior’s account before submitting your application.
- You then need to attach proof of payment to the application, including your variable symbol under which your payment was made.
