Withdrawal of the Application
Withdrawal of an application is an act by which you withdraw your application because you no longer have an interest in its processing1. The administrative authority is then obliged to discontinue the procedure regarding the application.
If there are multiple applicants in the procedure, all of them must agree to the withdrawal.
You may withdraw your application from the moment it is submitted until the Ministry of the Interior issues a decision, and subsequently also during the appeal procedure.
Your submission must clearly indicate which case it concerns (by stating the reference number), and it must be specifically stated, that you wish to withdraw your application. You must must also provide the following infromation:
- First name and Surname
- Date of birth
- Residence address (or another correspondence address)
Withdrawal of your application can be submitted personally at a Ministry of the Interior office, by post, via Data Box or by e-mail with a recognised electronic signature, or you can submit it through a legal representative.
