Notification of Fulfilment of the Requirements for Change of Employment

A Notification of Fulfilment of the Requirements is a document in which the Ministry of the Interior notifies whether legal requirements for a change have been fulfilled or not and therefore if it is possible to proceed with the change. This concerns Employee Card holders. The notification is issued in relation with the report of change of work position, employment with another employer or change in work location.

You and your (future) employer will receive the Notification of Fulfilment of the Requirements for change of employment. The notification is issued both when the requirements are fulfilled and when not. The Reports of Change of Employment are made by holders of the Employee Cards without free access to the labour market. It is required to report the change of the employer, work position or place of employment.

The Ministry sends the notification by post or a Data Box immediately after it has assessed the Report of Change. Only after you receive the notification – but no sooner than on the day that you stated in the form – you can start the new employment.

If you do not meet the requirements, the Ministry will inform you of the reason why your Report of Change of Employment does not meet the legal requirements.
